CLAY County (“County”) is issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) to receive information from qualified respondents as to the installation of broadband network in un/underserved areas of CLAY County – see potential project areas Exhibit A – and any other parts of the county that Respondents can serve. It is the intent of the County to use the information gathered from this request to strategize the deployment or expansion of existing broadband network(s) in the county that provides a connection opportunity to every household and business in the potential areas. This information may be used by the County to make a 2024 Appalachian Regional Commission grant application. It is the County’s intent to seek grant dollars from the Appalachian Regional Commission to contract with a selected partner(s) to provide their broadband Internet services to the residents and businesses in the Priority Areas, identified in the map as part of this document.
