My goals as Clay County Judge Executive are to be fair, effective, responsive, and accountable to all citizens of Clay County. I strive each day to instill public trust and confidence in our office. I will ensure that my office carries out its duties in a professional and civil manner to all citizens. Clay County has a lot to be proud of and I hope our website will offer a great platform for sharing the good news.
The Clay County Fiscal Court
The Clay County Fiscal Court is comprised of the County Judge Executive, elected at large by the residents of the entire county, and six magistrates, elected by residents of their corresponding districts.
The Kentucky Constitution of 1891 gave the name “Fiscal Court” to the body in each county that would act as that county’s government.
Each member of the Fiscal Court serves a 4-year term.
