Clay County EMS

As an emergency Kentucky licensed ambulance service, Clay Co. EMS provides care for our county and its communities – 24/7/365.

Our mission is to provide quality pre-hospital care and transportation to persons of sudden illness or injury within the 469 square miles of Clay County, Kentucky.

Operated from one base located in the heart of Manchester: we operate two to four apparatus daily, providing both advance life support and basic life support. Not only do we provide emergency care, but we also provide unscheduled non-emergency interfacility transport services for our rural hospital and medically necessary scheduled non-emergency stretcher transport for facilities and residents in Clay County.

Clay Co. EMS staff is comprised of 12 full-time EMTs, 1 full-time Advance EMT, 4 full-time Paramedics, 3 part-time Paramedics, 3 full-time support staff and two full-time administrative staff.
