Nomination letters should be received on or before April 1, 2024. Letters should reflect the following criteria and must be signed by person making the nomination. Letters of nomination may be emailed to tourism@claycountyky.com, submitted in person, or mailed to Clay County Judge Executive’s office at 102 Richmond Rd. Suite 201, Manchester, KY 40962 Attention: Vickie Nicholson. Presentation of award will be during Clay County Days opening ceremony.
Nominations should be based on excellence in one or more of the following areas:
- Nominee is/was actively involved in community work and/or service club’s/church groups outside of their place of employment or educational facility
- Nominee has had a positive impact in the community
- Nominee has demonstrated a personal commitment to the benefit of the community
- Has/had performed an outstanding achievement or act of heroism
- The community has benefited from this person’s involvement
- Has/had overcome significant personal adversity
- Has/had positive and inspiring personal attributes that serve to encourage others
