This week, Judge Executive Tommy Harmon and the Clay County Fiscal Court officially unveiled the newest addition to the Clay County Administration Building—a permanent historical timeline celebrating the rich history and heritage of Clay County.
The exhibit highlights significant events that have shaped the county, beginning in the 1750s and continuing through the 2020s. Designed to educate and inspire, the timeline offers visitors a visual journey through generations of local history, recognizing important milestones, people, and moments that have helped define Clay County.
This project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Clay County Historical Society, which provided the extensive research and historical development of the timeline. Special thanks also go to Kraemer Design of Cincinnati for their outstanding work in designing, fabricating, and installing the exhibit, bringing the county’s history to life in a visually engaging display.
The timeline is permanently installed just outside the Fiscal Court Room on the second floor of the Clay County Administration Building and is open for the public to view during normal business hours. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to stop by and explore the stories that have shaped our community over the centuries.
