The Clay County Fiscal Court will be accepting sealed bids proposals until Friday, June 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Office of the County Judge Executive, located at 102 Richmond Road Suite 201 Manchester, Ky 40962 bids will be opened on Thursday, June 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Clay County Fiscal Courtroom. Bid proposals will be for various sizes of gravels delivered to the Clay County garage. Gravel should be bid for the lowest overall price per ton. The Clay County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids to withdraw the bid award at any time, if dissatisfied with the performance of the bidder. Vendors may pick up bid packets and specifications at the Office of the County Judge Executive on Friday, May 10th or after. Bid proposals will be effective July 1, 2026 thru June 30, 2027.
Bid Notice for Steel Cribbing, Back Fill & Geotech Fabric
The Clay County Fiscal Court will be accepting sealed bids proposals until Friday, June 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Office of the County Judge Executive, located at 102 Richmond Road Suite 201 Manchester, Ky 40962 bids will be opened 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 11th 2026 in the Clay County Fiscal Courtroom. Bid proposals will be for drilling rail steel at various locations. The Contractor will be responsible for all work on each project, which will include providing and installing the steelcribbing, back fill, and Geotech fabric. Steel should be bid by lineal foot up to the shoulder elevation, cribbing per square foot and back fill per ton. Contractors must provide proof of one million dollars of liability insurance and workers compensation. The Clay County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids to withdraw the bid award at any time, if dissatisfied with the performance of the bidder. Bid proposals will be for a licensed Funeral Home for Mortuary Service to provide indigent/unclaimed remains services on an as needed basis including:
- Local removal of the deceased from the Clay County Morgue
- Collection of vital statistics information
- Preparation of a Kentucky Death Certificate
- Cremation of the remains
- Holding of the remains until a relative is identified

Bid proposals will be for Core Drilling/Geotec Boring for rock depth at various locations across the county. The Contractor will be responsible for each project, which will include determining rock depth and providing a single report for each location. The Contractor must provide proof of one million dollars of liability insurance and workers compensations. The Clay County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids to withdraw the bid award at any time, if dissatisfied with the performance of the bidder.
