County Judge-Executive Tommy Harmon replaced the administration building sign with a piece of history. This is the original stone from the old Clay County Courthouse. The stone has been at the county garage since the courthouse was torn down in 2002.
“I felt this would be a great piece of history to display in our town,” Harmon said.
The new sign was successfully installed and can now be seen in front of the administration building.
