DESCRIPTION:Clay County Judge Executive\, Tommy Harmon announced that Saturday\, June 15th from 8:00-4:00 PM the county will be accepting old tires at the old Mid-South Factory location at 825 Hwy. 1350. \nThe following tires will be accepted: Car and truck tires\, semi tires\, agriculture (farm tires/skid steer) and any tire off the rim as long as they are the tires mentioned above. \nTires not accepted are as follows: sheet rubber\, liquid/calcium/foam filled tires\, mud flap\, OTR’s (heavy equipment tires) and any tire that has a bed width of 1 ¾ inch or larger. \nJudge Harmon states that\, “This service has been frequently requested and he hopes the community will take this opportunity to get rid of unwanted tires from their property as our effort and dedication to clean up Clay County continues.” If you have questions feel free to contact Judge Harmon’s office at 606-598-2071.
